When you join you will get your own page you will be able to add what you want in the Text Box areas. Text Boxes can contain more than text, they can also contain; HTML, videos, photos, or any third-party widgets. For example if you want to put a YouTube video on your page just copy the embed code from YouTube and paste it into a text box.

You can add any number of items to a text box (I’m sure there is some limit but I haven’t found it yet) so you could put a title above the video and a description below it, or not. On caveat, the more you put in the box the longer it takes to save and update the page.

Hint: If you are going to use the text box for more than one item use the Title area to describe it in the broadest terms.

On election night before even the first polls closed I had a deep feeling of foreboding. In anticipation I registered Sons Of Liberty Underground (solunderground). At 11 PM EST my fears were confirmed as Fox News called California giving Barak Obama the Presidency of the United States of America.

Why use SOLUNDERGROUND? Well the irony of the first three initials was apparent and sonsofliberty was not available in any of the TLD’s; underground emphasizes my position as a Conservative in Exile.

The Democrat Party in this country has been taken over by far left Progressives. These people hate America their rhetoric notwithstanding. They are always have been and will be anti-capitalists. They believe in “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.” A slogan popularized by Karl Marx in his 1875 Critique of the Gotha Program. The phrase summarizes the principles that, under a communist system, every person should contribute to society to the best of their ability and consume from society in proportion to their needs, regardless of how much they have contributed. In the Marxist view, such an arrangement will be made possible by the abundance of goods and services that a developed communist society will produce; the idea is that there will be enough to satisfy everyone's needs.

The problem is that that type of economic/government system has failed every time and every place it has been tried.

The Republican Party in this country is in complete disarray. Like the Democrat Party of the past few decades it is divided and like the Democrat Party the Left leaning wing has gained control and moved the party significantly to the Left. Sean Hannity coined the phrase “Conservatism in Exile” and it quite accurately describes economic and social Conservatives.

The Libertarian Party, the most viable “third party” in this country, is schizophrenic. Our form of government does not lend itself to other than a two party, bicameral, system. In other words it is just not an option.

So here we are at the dawn of a new era in America. I personally believe we will get the “CHANGE” people apparently voted for, I’m just not sure it is the change they wanted.

My intent for this site is in the formulation stage. I know initially I want to form a Committee of five or six hard core political junkies that have the time and inclination to devote to launching and maintaining this site.

Next we need at least one person like the above from every state to complete our “Committee of Correspondence.” Once we have our core established we can design a campaign to enhance Conservatism in the public square, within the Republican Party and return America to a path of prosperity.

We have adopted the Culpepper Ensign as our Flag and Symbol. The rattlesnake device occurs on several Revolutionary War flags. The rattlesnake's eye, supposedly brighter than any other creatures and with no eyelids, is the symbol of vigilance. It is said that the snake never begins an attack, but once aroused it never surrenders. The snake was also portrayed with 13 rattles, symbolic of the 13 American colonies.

You will notice that threre are Google Ads running in the right column. We have no control over what ads are displayed threre because this site is currently hosted free by Ning. You will also see ads for the Ning Network, again they are there because of the free hosting.

We can get rid of the ads by paying a $24.95 monthly hosting fee. Needless to say funding for that is not currently available. We can also host the site using our own URL. We own the TLD’s for .org, .com, .net and .mobi. If and when we obtain sponsorship we will do away with current URL and uncontrolled ads. Until then, just take them with the appropriate grains of salt and realize that we do not endorse or control them.
